About

As a Legal Solutions Architect, Chris uses his passion for technology and automation to deliver results to clients they could not otherwise achieve. A J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Chris previously built automated documents for everyone from attorneys to pro se litigants. Now he delights clients with his talent in document automation, project management, and agile methodology.

Background

Chris spent his time in law school working on standardized court forms for Illinois pro se litigants through the state’s Access To Justice initiative. During a 10-week fellowship with Chicago-Kent's Center for Access to Justice and Technology, Chris helped build an automated security deposit complaint document that is still in use today. He went on to help other students learn document automation as the teaching assistant for the school's Access to Justice Practicum.

After law school, Chris worked at Illinois Legal Aid Online where he used the scrum technique to facilitate the rebuilding of ILAO’s website. Along with his work in automation, he is a Certified Scrum Master and has studied legal project management.

Away from the office, Chris enjoys taking advantage of Chicago’s live music offerings. He speaks some German, and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.

"When you show people how automation can save them time and effort, their eyes light up. They realize, 'This will help me do my job.'”
